Seirophora

Seirophora is a genus of lichen-forming fungi in the family Teloschistaceae. It comprises nine species. The genus was erected in 1983, with Seirophora magara assigned as the type species. These lichens form small, shrubby growths with firm, cartilage-like branches that are stiffened by internal cord-like structures and covered with complex surface hairs rather than the simple root-like attachments found in related genera.
