Heptapleurum heterophyllum is a lower story rainforest tree native to the Malay Peninsula (Peninsular Malaysia and Peninsular Thailand and into adjacent Sumatra). It belongs to the family Araliaceae. Its common name is great-leaved ivy-palm.
