Nanostictis

Nanostictis is a genus of lichenicolous (lichen-dwelling) fungi in the family Stictidaceae. These tiny fungi produce minute fruiting bodies that remain embedded within their host lichens and are characterised by very slender, thread-like ascospores divided by multiple cross-walls.
