Engleromyces sinensis is a species of fungus in the family Xylariaceae. It was described as new to science in 2010, based on specimens collected in 1958 and incorrectly identified as Engleromyces goetzii. The fungus is known only from China, where it grows on bamboo culms. It forms fruit bodies in the shape of two roughly circular buff-colored lobes measuring up to 50 cm (20 in) in diameter that envelop the bamboo. E. sinensis has been used as a folk remedy against cancer and infection in Tibet, Yunnan, and Sichuan Provinces. Several bioactive metabolites have been isolated and identified

Astraeus odoratus (Thai: เห็ดเผาะหนัง; Het pho nang เห็ดเผาะหนัง, Het pho เห็ดเผาะ, or Het nang เห็ดหนัง, the latter meaning "skin mushroom") is a species of false earthstar in the family Diplocystaceae. Described as a new species in 2004, it was originally found in the Thai highlands growing in sandy or laterite-rich soil in dry lowland dipterocarp forests. The species is found in Southeast Asia.

Leprieuria is a genus of fungi in the family Xylariaceae. This is a monotypic genus, containing the single species Leprieuria bacillum. The genus name of Leprieuria is in honour of François Mathias René Leprieur (1799–1870) who was a French pharmacist and naturalist. The genus was circumscribed by Thomas Læssøe, Jack David Rogers and Anthony James Seddon Whalley in Mycol. Res. vol.93 (Issue 2) on page 152 in 1989.
