Hubert Bourdot (30 October 1861 – 30 September 1937) was a French Roman Catholic priest and mycologist who was a native of Imphy, a community in the department of Nièvre. From 1898 until his death, Bourdot was a parish priest in Saint-Priest-en-Murat. He was a member of the Société mycologique de France, serving as its vice-president in 1919, and later becoming an honorary president (1929). Ramaria botrytis (Rosso Coral) (Pers.) Bourdot 1894
edible fungi species in the gomphaceae family
Ramaria botrytis, commonly known as the clustered coral, the pink-tipped coral mushroom, or the cauliflower coral, is a species of coral fungus in the family Gomphaceae. The type species of the genus Ramaria, R. botrytis was first described scientifically in 1797 by mycologist Christiaan Hendrik Persoon. The robust fruit body can grow up to 15 cm (6 in) in diameter and 20 cm (8 in) tall, and resembles some marine coral. Its dense branches, which originate from a stout, massive base, are swollen at the tips and divided into several small branchlets. The branches are initially whitish but age
Tulasnella violea (Quél.) Bourdot & Galzin 1909
fungi species in the tulasnellaceae family
Tulasnella violea is a species of fungus in the order Cantharellales. Basidiocarps (fruit bodies) are typically smooth, ceraceous (waxy), violet-pink or lilaceous to grey, and occur on the underside of fallen branches and logs. It is one of the more conspicuous Tulasnella species and appears to be distributed worldwide. Though normally saprotrophic, Tulasnella violea can form a mycorrhizal association with orchids.

Galzinia Bourdot 1922
fungi genus in the corticiaceae family
Galzinia is a genus of fungi in the class Agaricomycetes. Basidiocarps (fruit bodies) are thin, effused, corticioid, and typically occur on rotten, fallen wood. Molecular research, based on cladistic analysis of DNA sequences, suggests the genus may be polyphyletic. The type species has not yet been sequenced, but Galzinia longibasidia belongs in the Polyporales.
Tremella steidleri (Brown Brain) (Bres.) Bourdot & Galzin 1928
fungi species in the tremellaceae family
Tremella steidleri is a species of fungus in the order Tremellales and has the recommended English name brown brain. It produces brown, brain-like, gelatinous basidiocarps (fruit bodies) and is parasitic on Stereum basidiocarps on dead branches of broadleaved trees. It was originally described from the Czech Republic.
