Borofutus is a fungal genus in the family Boletaceae. Newly described in 2012, it is monotypic, containing the single species Borofutus dhakanus, found in tropical Asia. The generic name Borofutus derives from the Bengali language, and means "large pore", while dhakanus refers to the type locality in Gazipur, Dhaka Division, Bhawal National Park, in Bangladesh. Molecular analysis shows Borofutus to be closely related to Spongiforma.

Amanita cinereovelata is a species of the fungal family Amanitaceae. It was the first generic report for Bangladesh, described as a new species to science in 2015. This species belongs to the subgenus Lepidella section Lepidella. It is only known from Bangladesh, and putatively ectomycorrhizal association with Shorea robusta.

Phylloporus gajari is a species of the fungal family Boletaceae. It was first described as a new species in 2015 from Bangladesh. This fungus is putatively associated with Shorea robusta.

Lepiota bengalensis is a species of the fungal family Agaricaceae. It was the first generic report for Bangladesh, described as a new species to science in 2016. It is only known from Bangladesh.

Lactocollybia subvariicystis is a fungus in the Lactocollybia genus. Species in this genus are little known in China. This species is reported from subtropical south China in 2016. It is characterized by its small, white, hygrophanous basidiomata, sinuate to adnexed lamellae, common presence of gloeocystidia in the context of pileus, lamellae and stipe which is sharply tapering at both ends, and found on the living trunk of Acacia confusa.

Hygrocybe umbilicata is a species of the fungal family Hygrophoraceae. It is the first of its genus reported for Bangladesh. It was found in Singra Forest, Birganj, Dinajpur district of Bangladesh.

Xanthagaricus necopinatus is a species of the fungal family Agaricaceae. This species is the first generic report for Bangladesh. It was found in Chondrima Uddan, Dhaka district of Bangladesh.
