Lobarina Nyl. ex Cromb. 1894
fungi genus in the lobariaceae family
Lobarina is a genus of lichen-forming fungi in the family Peltigeraceae. Lobarina resembles the related genus Lobaria in lobe arrangement and medullary chemistry, but its thallus has shallow pits and a markedly denser tomentum on the underside, leaving white, rounded patches that do not align with the surface depressions. The genus occurs mostly in temperate and tropical mountain forests of the Northern Hemisphere, where species grow on tree bark in moist, shaded environments. Members of Lobarina are cyanolichens, meaning they partner with cyanobacteria that can fix nitrogen from the air.

Endocena Cromb. 1876
fungi genus in the icmadophilaceae family
Endocena is a genus of lichen-forming fungi in the family Icmadophilaceae. It has two species. Endocena is characterised by a thallus that can range from crustose to somewhat fruticose, with features such as hollow pustules, pseudopodetia, and granular phyllocladia. Apothecia, or sexual fruiting bodies, are rare and poorly developed. The three taxa within the genus have distinct distributional ranges, with Endocena informis var. informis being widely distributed in southern South America, while Endocena informis var. falklandica is common in the Falkland Islands, and Endocena buckii has a
