Laurens Sparrius

Cryptothecia punctosorediata is a species of corticolous (bark-dwelling) crustose lichen in the family Arthoniaceae. Found in northern Thailand, it was formally described as a new species in 2005 by Laurens Sparrius. The type specimen was collected from Ban Hauy Som Poy (Nan Province) at an elevation of 300 m (980 ft); here it was found growing on the smooth bark of the mango tree Mangifera indica. Austrographa is a genus of lichen-forming fungi in the family Roccellaceae. It has three species. The genus was circumscribed in 2013 by lichenologists Laurens Sparrius, John Elix, and Alan Archer, with Austrographa kurriminensis assigned as the type species. The genus had been published invalidly on two separate occasions. All three species in the genus were found in a mangrove stand in Queensland, Australia. The genus was discovered in Australia, and the name Austrographa reflects this.

Angiactis is a genus of crustose lichens of uncertain familial placement in the order Arthoniales. It has four species.

Synarthothelium is a genus of lichen-forming fungi of uncertain familial placement in the order Arthoniales. It has two species of corticolous (bark-dwelling) crustose lichens that occur in tropical regions of the Americas.

Menegazzia primaria is a species of foliose lichen found in Taiwan. It is closely related to Menegazzia terebrata.

Menegazzia anteforata is a species of foliose lichen from Taiwan. It was described as new to science in 2003.

Cresponea ancistrosporelloides is a species of lichen in the family Opegraphaceae. Known only from Stirling Range National Park in Western Australia, it was described as new to science in 2011. The specific epithet ancistrosporelloides refers to the similarity of its tailed spores to those of genus Ancistrosporella. The lichen forms pale grey crusts on volcanic rock and produces small black reproductive discs. It grows in dry shrubland at about 740 metres elevation and is one of only seven species in its genus found in Australia.
