Cerarioporia F. Wu, L.W. Zhou & J. Si 2016
fungi genus in the polyporaceae family
Cerarioporia is a fungal genus in the family Polyporaceae. It is a monotypic genus, containing the single species Cerarioporia cystidiata, a wood-decaying poroid crust fungus found in tropical China. Cerarioporia resembles fungi placed in the genus Antrodia, but can be distinguished by its waxy to resinous fruit bodies, and microscopically by the thick-walled, encrusted cystidia. Additionally, Cerarioporia causes a white rot, while Antrodia are brown-rot fungi. Cerarioporia is a member of the "core polyporoid clade", a phylogenetic grouping of fungi that is roughly equivalent to the family
Skeletocutis bambusicola L.W. Zhou & W.M. Qin 2012
fungi species in the incrustoporiaceae family
Skeletocutis bambusicola is a species of poroid crust fungus in the family Polyporaceae. It was described as new to science in 2012 by mycologists Li-Wei Zhou and Wen-Min Qin. It is found in southern China, where it grows on dead bamboo. The type collection was made in Mengla County, Yunnan Province. The specific epithet bambusicola refers to its growth on bamboo. At the time of publication, S. bambusicola was the 22nd Skeletocutis species recorded from China.
Grammothele hainanensis F. Wu & L.W. Zhou 2016
fungi species in the polyporaceae family
Grammothele hainanensis is a poroid crust fungi in the family Polyporaceae. Described as a new species in 2016, it is named for Hainan, the type locality. It has cylindrical spores that have dimensions of 7–8.1 by 2.3–2.9 μm.
Tropicoporus tropicalis (M.J. Larsen & Lombard) L.W. Zhou & Y.C. Dai 2015
fungi species in the hymenochaetaceae family
Tropicoporus tropicalis is a mushroom of the family Hymenochaetaceae. Tropicoporus tropicalis is a wood-decaying basidiomycetes that rarely causes disease in animals and human, and is commonly found in humid climate such as Brazil. In its natural environment, the fungus is associated with white rot woody angiosperms, and has its annual fruiting body on tree trunks and branches. Tropicoporus tropicalis has two kinds of hyphae (a dimitic hyphal system), generative and skeletal, that lack clamp connections.
