Brianaria is a lichen genus in the family Psoraceae. It was circumscribed in 2014 by Stefan Ekman and Måns Svensson to contain four closely related species formerly in the Micarea sylvicola group.

Micarea capitata is a species of moss-dwelling lichen in the family Ectolechiaceae. Described in 2011 from Härjedalen in north-western Sweden, this rarely recorded lichen is characterised by minute black apothecia with a distinctly constricted base and a mottled, darkly pigmented hypothecium. The species grows on shoots of the pleurocarpous moss Hylocomium splendens on rocks in open forests, where it forms an extremely thin, pale grey crust that is easily overlooked in the field.

Gilbertaria is a genus of lichen-forming fungi in the family Sphaerophoraceae, comprising four species of crustose lichens found primarily in arctic and alpine environments. The genus is characterised by its thin, crust-like growth on rocks and dead plant material, black button-like reproductive structures (apothecia), and frequent association with blue-green algae of the genus Stigonema. Puttea duplex is a species of lichen of uncertain familial placement in the order Lecanorales. This tiny, inconspicuous lichen forms pale greyish films over decaying moss on tree bark and produces extremely small, yellowish-brown disc-shaped fruiting bodies that are barely visible to the naked eye. It is distinguished from similar species by having an unusually large number of ascospores (16–24) packed into each spore sac, compared to the typical eight found in related lichens.

Australidea is a genus in the family Malmideaceae. It is monospecific, containing a single species, the crustose lichen Australidea canorufescens. The genus was circumscribed by Gintaras Kantvilas, Mats Wedin, and Måns Svensson in 2021 to contain the species previously known as Lecidea canorufescens. This lichen is widespread in temperate Australia.

Nimisora is a fungal genus in the family Lecanoraceae. It comprises the single species Nimisora iberica, a crustose lichen. The genus was established in 2023 to formally recognise a common lichen found on tree twigs in central Spain that had previously been confused with several other similar species.

Lecanora viridipruinosa is a rare species of crustose lichen in the family Lecanoraceae. Found in Alaska, it was formally described as a new species by the lichenologists Måns Svensson and Toby Spribille. The type specimen was collected from the Hoonah-Angoon Census Area in Glacier Bay National Park. Here it was found growing on exposed argillite rock in an alpine heath at an elevation of 920 m (3,020 ft). The specific epithet viridipruinosa refers to the greenish pruina on the discs of the apothecia. The lichen is only known to occur in the type locality.
