Leucocoprinus brebissonii (Skullcap Dapperling) (Godey) Locq. 1943
fungi species in the agaricaceae family
Leucocoprinus brebissonii, commonly known as the gray-eyed dapperling, is a species of mushroom producing fungus in the family Agaricaceae. It is also known as the skullcap dapperling due to its distinctive pattern on the cap. This mushroom was only thought to be found in Europe but it has since been observed in the Pacific Northwest and may also be found in Asia.
Phallogastraceae Locq. 1974
fungi family in the order hysterangiales
The Phallogastraceae are a family of fungi in the order Hysterangiales. The family contains 2 genera and 14 species.
Ceratocystidaceae Locq. 1972
fungi family in the order microascales
The Ceratocystidaceae are a family of fungi in the class Sordariomycetes, subclass Hypocreomycetidae.
Leucocoprinus cretaceus (White Chalk Mushroom) (Bull.) Locq. 1945
fungi species in the agaricaceae family
Leucocoprinus cretaceus is a species of mushroom producing fungus in the family Agaricaceae. It is likely tropical in origin although it was first documented in Europe where it was often found growing in greenhouses and bark beds. However many early observations conflate this species with the more common Leucocoprinus birnbaumii or Leucocoprinus cepistipes despite sharing only superficial similarities. This fungus is quite versatile even for a saprotroph and is often found growing in clusters on woodchips, sawdust and compost heaps as well as directly from the ground or on trees. It may also
Peglerochaete setiger (Peglerochaete) Sarwal & Locq. 1983
fungi species in the tricholomataceae family
Peglerochaete is a genus of fungi in the family Tricholomataceae. This is a monotypic genus, containing the single species Peglerochaete setiger, found in the Indian state Sikkim and reported as new to science in 1983. The genus name of Pegleromyces is in honour of David Pegler (b.1938), who is a British mycologist.
Leucocoprinus biornatus (Berk. & Broome) Locq. 1945
fungi species in the agaricaceae family
Leucocoprinus biornatus is a species of mushroom producing fungus in the family Agaricaceae.
Phyllotopsidaceae Locq. 1984
fungi family in the order agaricales
The Phyllotopsidaceae are a family of fungi in the order Agaricales. Basidiocarps are either clavarioid (Macrotyphula), agaricoid (Tricholomopsis), or cyphelloid. Marcel Locquin originally established the family on the basis of shared morphological characteristics, but did not validly publish it. The name was later validated by Olariaga and the family was expanded to contain other genera as a result of molecular research, based on cladistic analysis of DNA sequences.
Phaeopholiota Locq. & Sarwal 1983
fungi genus in the agaricaceae family
Phaeopholiota is a fungal genus in the family Agaricaceae. A monotypic genus, it contains the single Himalayan species Phaeopholiota crinipellis, described as new to science in 1983.
