fungi genus in the phanerochaetaceae family
Rhizochaete is a genus of nine species of poroid crust fungi in the family Phanerochaetaceae. The genus is closely related to Phanerochaete. Aside from the widespread Rhizochaete radicata and the Asian species R. borneensis, most species of Rhizochaete fungi are found in North and South America.

Ryvardenia Rajchenb. 1994
fungi genus in the polyporaceae family
Ryvardenia is a genus of fungi in the family Polyporaceae. It contains two species, Ryvardenia campyla (Berk.) Rajchenb. (1994) and the type, Ryvardenia cretacea (Lloyd) Rajchenb. (1994), formerly placed in the genus Polyporus. Ryvardenia was circumscribed by Argentinian botanist Mario Rachenberg in 1994. The genus name of Ryvardenia is in honour of Leif Randulff Ryvarden (born 9 August 1935) who is a Norwegian mycologist. Molecular analysis of specimens from Argentina and Australia has shown that the species separate into two distinct clades that are each restricted biogeographically to one

Microporellus iguazuensis Rajchenb. 1987
fungi species in the polyporaceae family
Microporellus iguazuensis is a species of poroid fungus in the family Polyporaceae. Found in South America, it was described as a new species in 1987 by mycologist Mario Rajchenberg. The type was collected in Misiones Province, Argentina, in the Iguazú National Park. Characteristics of the fungus include the fruit body comprising a lateral stipe and multiple fan- or spoon-shaped caps. Microscopic characters include the dimitic hyphal system, relatively large basidia measuring 23–31 by 8–9 μm, and large ellipsoid to egg-shaped spores measuring 7–9 by 5–6 μm. The fungus was redescribed 23 years
