Exidia nigricans is a species of fungus in the family Auriculariaceae. In the UK, it has the recommended English name of warlock's butter. It produces black, gelatinous basidiocarps (fruit bodies) and is a common, wood-rotting species throughout the Northern Hemisphere, typically growing on dead attached branches of broadleaf trees. It has been much confused with Exidia glandulosa.

Cystobasidium fimetarium is a species of fungus in the order Cystobasidiales. It is a fungal parasite forming small gelatinous basidiocarps (fruit bodies) on various ascomycetous fungi (including Lasiobolus and Thelebolus spp) on dung. Microscopically, it has auricularioid (laterally septate) basidia producing basidiospores that germinate by budding off yeast cells. The species is known from Europe and North America.

Sebacina sparassoidea, the white coral jelly fungus, is a species of fungus in the family Sebacinaceae. Its coral-like basidiocarps (fruit bodies) are typically a yellowish off-white and have a gelatinous and elastic texture. Found in eastern North America, in humid environments amongst rotting logs of deciduous trees, particularly oaks, it is often observed growing throughout the months of August to September.

The Oliveoniaceae are a family of fungi in the order Auriculariales. Species form thin, effused, corticioid basidiocarps (fruit bodies) with aseptate basidia producing basidiospores that give rise to secondary spores. All species are believed to be saprotrophic, most growing on dead wood.

Endoperplexa is a genus of fungi of uncertain familial placement (incertae sedis) in the order Auriculariales. The Dictionary of the Fungi (10th edition, 2008) report four species, but an additional two species have since been described or transferred into the genus.

Ceratosebacina is a genus of fungi in the order Auriculariales. The genus, which includes three species found in Europe, was circumscribed in 1993.

Tremella coffeicolor is a species of fungus in the family Tremellaceae. It produces brown, lobed to foliaceous, gelatinous basidiocarps (fruit bodies) and is parasitic on other fungi on dead branches of broad-leaved trees. It was originally described from Bermuda, where it was collected as part of the Challenger expedition.

Skeletocutis africana is a species of poroid crust fungus in the family Polyporaceae. Described as new to science in 2006 by mycologists Leif Ryvarden and Peter Roberts, the fungus is found in Cameroon, where it grows on logs in tropical lowland rainforest environments. The type collection was made in Korup National Park, in South West Province.
