Hygrophoropsis aurantiaca (False Chanterelle) (Wulfen) Maire 1921
edible fungi species in the hygrophoropsidaceae family
Hygrophoropsis aurantiaca, commonly known as the false chanterelle, is a species of fungus in the family Hygrophoropsidaceae. Austrian naturalist Franz Xaver von Wulfen described the false chanterelle in 1781, noting both its resemblance with the true chanterelles and people's propensity to confuse them. The false chanterelle was then placed in the genus Clitocybe, but it was later observed that its forked gills and dextrinoid spores indicated a relationship to Paxillus. Genetic analysis has confirmed that it belongs to the order Boletales and is more closely related to boletes. The fruit

Phellinus pomaceus (Cushion Bracket) (Pers.) Maire 1933
fungi species in the hymenochaetaceae family
Phellinus pomaceus is a plant pathogen particularly common on Prunus species. It is not aggressively pathogenic but can cause considerable decay in trees suffering from other stress factors. P. pomaceus is found in Europe as well as areas of Asia, South America and Africa. This species has historically been used for medicinal purposes and is currently being researched for its chemical and biological properties. This is a very long-lived conk, bearing as many as eighty annual growth rings.

fungi genus in the mycenaceae family
Xeromphalina is a genus of fungi in the family Mycenaceae. The genus has a widespread distribution, and contains about 30 species.
Limacella illinita (Fr.) Maire 1933
fungi species in the amanitaceae family
Zhuliangomyces illinitus is a mushroom-forming fungus species of genus Zhuliangomyces in the family Amanitaceae in the order Agaricales. It has recently been known as Limacella illinita, and previously as Agaricus illinitus and Mastocephalus illinitus. The fungus is known for its distinctive slimy cap, for which it is commonly known as the dripping slimecap or the overflowing slimy stem. As L. illinita, it was commonly known as the white limacella.
Rhodocybe Maire 1926
fungi genus in the entolomataceae family
Rhodocybe is a genus of fungi in the family Entolomataceae. Basidiocarps (fruit bodies) are agaricoid (gilled mushrooms) producing pink basidiospores that are unevenly roughened or pustular under the microscope. Species are saprotrophic and mostly grow on the ground, occasionally on wood. The genus is distributed worldwide.

Xeromphalina cauticinalis (Pinelitter Gingertail) (Fr.) Kühner & Maire 1934
fungi species in the mycenaceae family
Xeromphalina cauticinalis is a species of agaric fungus in the family Mycenaceae. Originally described in 1838 by Elias Fries as Marasmius cauticinalis, it was transferred to the genus Xeromphalina by Robert Kühner and René Maire in 1934. The fruit bodies have convex yellowish caps measuring 0.5–2.5 cm (1⁄4–1 in) in diameter supported by a tough yellow-brown to dark brown stipe that is 2.5–8 cm (1–3+1⁄8 in) long and 0.5–2.5 millimetres (1⁄32–3⁄32 in) thick. The pale yellow gills have a decurrent attachment to the stipe and are somewhat distantly spaced. The spore print is white, while

Rhodotus Maire 1926
fungi genus in the physalacriaceae family
Rhodotus is a genus in the fungus family Physalacriaceae. There are two species in the genus with the best known, Rhodotus palmatus, called the netted rhodotus, the rosy veincap, or the wrinkled peach. The unique characteristics of R. palmatus have made it difficult for taxonomists to agree on how it should be classified, resulting in an elaborate taxonomical history and an extensive synonymy. First named Agaricus palmatus by Bulliard in 1785, it was reclassified into several different genera before becoming Rhodotus in 1926. The familial placement of the genus Rhodotus within the order
Panaeolina Maire 1933
fungi genus in the bolbitiaceae family
Panaeolina is a small genus of small mushrooms, containing only about four species. They are a subgroup of Panaeolus which have dark brown spores. The type species is Panaeolina foenisecii, a common lawn mushroom. Members of Panaeolina are broadly distributed throughout the world. Some members of Panaeolina have been reported to contain the hallucinogen psilocybin, however these results are thought to be false positives. These fungi are sometimes classified as part of the genus Panaeolus. Like that genus their gills have a cloudy/speckled/mottled appearance due to the way that their spores
