fungi species in the chrysotrichaceae family
Chrysothrix septemseptata is a species of crustose lichen in the family Arthoniaceae. Found in India, it was formally described as a new species in 2006 by T.A.M. Jagadeesh Ram, H. Thorsten Lumbsch, Robert Lücking, and G.P. Sinha. The type specimen was collected in the Sundarbans Biosphere Reserve (West Bengal); here it was found growing on the bark of the mangrove tree Tamarix gallica. The lichen grows as a thin lemon-yellow crust measuring 0.5–2 cm (0.2–0.8 in) in diameter, with isolated patches sometimes coalescing. It contains vulpinic acid as a major secondary chemical, and minor amounts

Eremothecella nicobarica Jagad. Ram & G.P. Sinha 2019
fungi species in the arthoniaceae family
Eremothecella nicobarica is a leaf-dwelling (foliicolous) lichen in the family Arthoniaceae, described from Great Nicobar Island, India. It forms thin, pale greenish-grey patches on living leaves in shaded evergreen forests and is distinguished from related species by its highly septate (internally divided) ascospores, which have 15–17 cross-walls. Currently known only from its type locality, the species was discovered in 2015 and formally described in 2019.
Eremothecella ajaysinghii Jagad. Ram & G.P. Sinha 2019
fungi species in the arthoniaceae family
Eremothecella ajaysinghii is a species of foliicolous (leaf-dwelling) lichen in the family Arthoniaceae. It was described from specimens collected in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India. It forms a thin, greenish to whitish-grey crust on living leaves and produces dark, often pale-dusting (pruinose) fruiting bodies. The species was one of several members of Eremothecella documented during a modern survey of the archipelago's evergreen and mangrove forests.
