edible fungi species in the fomitopsidaceae family
Fomitopsis betulina (previously Piptoporus betulinus), commonly known as the birch polypore, birch bracket, or razor strop, is a common bracket fungus and, as the name suggests, grows almost exclusively on birch trees. The brackets burst out from the bark of the tree, and these fruit bodies can last for more than a year.

fungi species in the physalacriaceae family
Flammulina filiformis, commonly called enoki mushroom, is a species of agaric (gilled mushroom) in the family Physalacriaceae. Until recently, the species was considered to be conspecific with the European Flammulina velutipes, but DNA sequencing has shown that the two are distinct. It is widely cultivated as an edible mushroom in East Asia, where it is included in Japanese and Chinese cuisine.

Auricularia heimuer F. Wu, B.K. Cui & Y.C. Dai 2014
edible fungi species in the auriculariaceae family
Auricularia heimuer, also known as heimuer (Chinese: 黑木耳; pinyin: hēimù'ěr) or black wood ear, is a species of fungus in the order Auriculariales. It is commercially cultivated for food in China at a value exceeding $4 billion (USD) per year. The species was previously referred to as the European Auricularia auricula-judae, but the latter is not known to occur in East Asia. Auricularia heimuer is a popular ingredient in many Chinese dishes, such as hot and sour soup, and it is also used in traditional Chinese medicine.

Taiwanofungus Sheng H. Wu, Z.H. Yu, Y.C. Dai & C.H. Su 2004
fungi genus
Taiwanofungus is a fungal genus of unknown familial placement in the order Polyporales. The genus contains two species: the type, Taiwanofungus camphoratus, and T. salmoneus. Taiwanofungus was circumscribed by Taiwanese mycologists in 2004. T. camphoratus is a medicinal fungus that is found in Taiwan, where it grows on the endemic tree species Cinnamomum kanehirae. It was first described in 1990 by Mu Zang and Ching-Hua Su as a species of Ganoderma. T. salmoneus, originally placed in Antrodia, was validly added to the genus in 2012.
Phellinopsis Y.C. Dai 2010
fungi genus in the hymenochaetaceae family
Phellinopsis is a genus of four species of fungi in the family Hymenochaetaceae. It was newly circumscribed in 2010, containing P. occidentalis and the type species P. conchata. P. junipericola and P. resupinata were added in 2012, and P. asetosa in 2015.
Abundisporus quercicola Y.C. Dai 2002
fungi species in the polyporaceae family
Abundisporus quercicola is a species of bracket fungus that grows on living oaks in temperate forests in the foothills of the Himalaya (People's Republic of China). The fruit bodies are perennial, grey to black above with concentric markings and white below. The fungus grows to 7 cm wide and 5 cm thick, projecting up to 5 cm from the substrate. The basidiospores are yellow.
Sparassis latifolia (Asian Cauliflower Mushroom) Y.C. Dai & Zheng Wang 2006
edible fungi species in the sparassidaceae family

Skeletocutis subvulgaris Y.C. Dai 1998
fungi species in the incrustoporiaceae family
Skeletocutis subvulgaris is a species of poroid, white rot fungus in the family Polyporaceae. Found in China, it was described as a new species in 1998 by mycologist Yu-Chen Dai. It was named for its resemblance to Skeletocutis vulgaris. The type collection was made in Hongqi District, Jilin Province, where it was found growing on the rotting wood of Korean pine (Pinus koraiensis).
Tropicoporus linteus (Berk. & M.A. Curtis) L.W. Zhou & Y.C. Dai 2015

Fragiliporia is the sole genus in the fungus family Fragiliporiaceae. It contains the poroid crust fungus Fragiliporia fragilis, described as new to science by Chinese mycologists in 2014. The type specimen of this fungus was discovered growing on a rotting stump of alder in the Gaoligongshan National Nature Reserve in Yunnan. The specific epithet fragilis refers to the brittle fruit bodies of the fungus. Molecular phylogenetics shows that the fungus is in an isolated position in the Polyporales, distinct from the six previously identified clades in this order. In a later study (2017),

fungi genus in the polyporaceae family
Datroniella is a genus of poroid crust fungi in the family Polyporaceae. It was circumscribed in 2014 by Chinese mycologists as a segregate genus from Datronia. Datroniella differs from Datronia by their moderately to frequently branched skeletal hyphae in the context, and absence of dendrohyphidia (modified terminal hyphae in the hymenium). The type species of Datroniella is D. scutellata, a fungus originally described as Polyporus scutellatus by Lewis David de Schweinitz. Datroniella fungi cause a white rot, usually on angiosperm wood.
