Mycena adscendens Maas Geest. 1981
fungi species in the mycenaceae family
Mycena adscendens, commonly known as the frosty bonnet, is a species of fungus in the family Mycenaceae. The fungus produces small white fruit bodies (mushrooms) with caps up to 7.5 mm (0.3 in) in diameter that appear to be dusted with sugar-like granules. Caps are supported by thin, hollow stems up to 20 mm (0.8 in) long, which are set on a disc-like base. Its distribution includes Europe, Turkey and the Pacific coast of the United States. The fruit bodies grow on fallen twigs and other woody debris on the forest floor, including fallen hazel nuts. The variety carpophila is known from Japan.

fungi species in the dipodascaceae family
Yarrowia lipolytica is a species of fungus in the family Dipodascaceae. It is notable for its use of unusual carbon sources, such as hydrocarbons. This has made it of interest for use in industrial microbiology, especially for the production of specialty lipids.
Yarrowia Van der Walt & Arx 1981
fungi genus in the dipodascaceae family
Yarrowia is a fungal genus in the family Dipodascaceae. For a while the genus was monotypic, containing the single species Yarrowia lipolytica, a yeast that can use unusual carbon sources, such as hydrocarbons. Molecular phylogenetics analysis has revealed several other species that have since been added to the genus.

Chrysothrix chlorina (Sulfur Dust Lichen) (Ach.) J.R. Laundon 1981
fungi species in the chrysotrichaceae family
Chrysothrix chlorina, the sulphur dust lichen, is a species of leprose (powdery) crustose lichen in the family Chrysotrichaceae. Originally described scientifically by the Swedish lichenologist Erik Acharius over 200 years ago, it has been shuffled to many different genera in its taxonomic history before finally being transferred to Chrysothrix in 1981. The lichen has a circumboreal distribution, meaning it occurs in northern boreal regions across the planet. It is typically saxicolous (rock-dwelling), particularly on the underside of rock overhangs, but has in rare instances been recorded
Resinomycena Redhead & Singer 1981
fungi genus in the mycenaceae family
Resinomycena is a genus of fungi in the mushroom family Mycenaceae. The genus contains at least eight species found in North America, Europe (including the United Kingdom and the Canary Islands) and eastern Asia (including Japan). This genus of small white to tan colored agarics is saprophytic and colonizes leaf litter, bark, small twigs and decaying monocot vegetation. The fruitbodies are small and resemble Mycena or Marasmius or Hemimycena and are distinguished by amyloid spores, poorly dextrinoid tissues, and the abundant oily, resinous cystidia on the pileus, lamellae edges and stipes.
Leccinum schistophilum (Bog Bolete) Bon 1981
fungi species in the boletaceae family
Leccinum schistophilum is a species of bolete fungus in the family Boletaceae. Found in Europe, where it grows in association with birch, it was described as new to science in 1981 by French mycologist Marcel Bon.

Chrysothrix candelaris (Gold Dust Lichen) (L.) J.R. Laundon 1981
fungi species in the chrysotrichaceae family
Chrysothrix candelaris, commonly known as the mustard powder lichen or gold dust lichen, is a species of leprose (powdery) lichen in the family Chrysothricaceae. It typically grows on tree bark, although it has also been recorded growing on rock. It does not show ascocarps or other reproductive structures, belonging to the group commonly known as the 'Fungi or lichens imperfecti' in the UK.

Diaporthe helianthi Munt.-Cvetk., Mihaljč. & M. Petrov 1981
fungi species in the diaporthaceae family
Diaporthe helianthi is a fungal pathogen that causes Phomopsis stem canker of sunflowers. In sunflowers, Phomopsis helianthi (teleomorph =Diaporthe helianthi) is the causative agent behind stem canker. Its primary symptom is the production of large canker lesions on the stems of sunflower plants. These lesions can eventually lead to lodging and plant death. This disease has been shown to be particularly devastating in southern and eastern regions of Europe, although it can also be found in the United States and Australia. While cultural control practices are the primary method of controlling
