Andrés Posada Arango (February 11, 1839 – March 13, 1922) was a Colombian physician, botanist, zoologist, and ichthyologist. In 1862, after serving as a surgeon in the civil wars of 1860 and 1861, he returned to Medellín. In 1868, he traveled to Europe and, after visiting several countries, settled in Paris, where he pursued studies in Medicine and natural sciences.
