Chlorangiellaceae Bourrelly ex Fott
plant family in the order tetrasporales
Chlorangiellaceae is a green algae family in the order Chlamydomonadales. The Chlorangiellaceae consists of solitary or colonial organisms, attached to a substrate. Cells may be embedded in gelatinous cell wall sheaths, or with no gelatinous mass and instead attached to the substrate via stalks, pads, or threads. Reproduction occurs via zoospores or gametes. Organisms in Chlorangiellaceae are typically epibiontic on plankton, rarely tychoplanktonic.

Radiococcaceae Fott ex Komárek
plant family in the order sphaeropleales
Radiococcaceae is a family of microscopic green algae in the order Sphaeropleales. Members of this family are widespread in terrestrial and freshwater habitats. The family Radiococcaceae consists of colonies of cells embedded in a mucilage, generally arranged without a fixed pattern. Cells are spherical, oblong, oval, ellipsoidal or elongated, with a smooth cell wall. Cells contain parietal chloroplasts with or without pyrenoids. Cells reproduce by producing autospores, never by zoospores or hemizoospores. Algae in the Radiococcaceae are among the most taxonomically difficult groups of green
Monoraphidium Komárková-Legnerová in Fott, 1969 1969
plant genus in the selenastraceae family
Monoraphidium is a genus of green algae in the family Selenastraceae. Monoraphidium is found free-floating or attached to surfaces in water, or in soils. It is one of the most common types of phytoplankton in freshwater habitats, and has a cosmopolitan distribution. Monoraphidium consists of single cells, which are 2-182 by 1-8 micrometers. The cell is straight to lunate to sigmoid or helically shaped. Cells contain a single nucleus, a single parietal chloroplast and a single pyrenoid lacking a starch sheath (or no pyrenoid at all). Reproduction occurs asexually by autospores. It is similar
