Pentalinon luteum, commonly known as hammock viper's-tail, licebush, wild allamanda, wild wist yellow mandevilla, and yellow dipladenia, is a vine native to islands of the Caribbean, Honduras, and the U.S. state of Florida.

Pinochia corymbosa, commonly known as Bejuco de San Juan, is a species of flowering plant in the family Apocynaceae, native to the Greater Antilles (Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Puerto Rico). It was first described by Nikolaus Joseph von Jacquin in 1760 as Echites corymbosus.

Pinochia monteverdensis is a plant species native to Costa Rica, Guatemala and Oaxaca. Pinochia monteverdensis is a liana climbing over other vegetation. Leaves are elliptic or oblanceolate, up to 13 cm long and 4 cm wide, tapering to a point at the tip. Calyx lobes are tapering, up to 2 mm long, with hairs. Corolla white, up to 4 mm long, the tube hairless but the lobes hairy. Follicle non-hairy, up to 20 cm long.

Urochloa fusca, the browntop signalgrass, is a wild grass species with a native range extending from Paraguay in South America to the southern United States (Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma), and it is now found as a weed in Australia. The species is diploid, with a base chromosome number of 9, and utilizes the PCK enzymatic subtype of C4 photosynthesis.
