Cycas revoluta (Sotetsu [Japanese ソテツ], sago cycad, sago palm, king sago, Japanese sago palm) is a species of gymnosperm in the family Cycadaceae, native to southern Japan including the Ryukyu Islands. It is one of several species used for the production of sago, as well as an ornamental plant. The sago cycad can be distinguished by a thick coat of fibers on its trunk. The sago cycad is sometimes mistakenly thought to be a palm, although the only similarity between the two is that they look similar and both produce seeds.

Cycas multipinnata (or Epicycas multipinnata), common name Royal Sago, is a species of cycad of the Sago Palm Family (Cycadaceae) in southwestern China and northern Vietnam. It is one of the tuberous species which some taxonomists segregate as the genus Epicycas, and has the longest leaf stalks (petioles) of any Gymnosperm; up to 3.4 metres (11 ft). Cultivated plants have had petioles as long as 4 m (13 ft). The total length of the bipinnate frond can be up to 7 m (23 ft). Uniquely, the ultimate pinnules are Y-shaped. Cycas debaoensis is a plant species endemic to the Guangxi region of China. It grows in sunny locations at elevations of 700–1000 m. It is closely related to Cycas multipinnata.

Cycas hainanensis is a species of cycad in Hainan, China. It is protected in some forest reserves and in Tongguling National Nature Reserve (铜鼓岭国家级自然保护区), Wenchang County. In Hainan, it is also found in Wanning and Haikou districts.

Debregeasia orientalis, common name yanagi ichigo, is a large shrub belonging to the family Urticaceae.

Pilea cavernicola is a herbaceous plant about 0.5 meters tall, native to China. A sciophyte, it grows in very low light conditions in caves in Fengshan County, Guangxi, China.
