Citrus × junos (Yudzu) Siebold ex Tanaka 1924
medicinal plant hybrid species in the rutaceae family
Yuzu (Citrus × junos, from Japanese 柚子 or ユズ; ) is a citrus fruit and plant in the family Rutaceae of Chinese origin. Yuzu has been cultivated mainly in East Asia, though it has also recently been grown in New Zealand, Australia, Spain, Italy, and France. It is believed to have originated in central China as an F1 hybrid of the mangshanyeju (Chinese: 莽山野橘) subspecies of mandarin orange and the ichang papeda.
Citrus sudachi (Sudachi) hort. ex Tanaka 1933
plant species in the rutaceae family
Sudachi (Citrus x sudachi; Japanese: スダチ or 酢橘) is a small, round, green citrus fruit of Japanese origin that is a specialty of Tokushima Prefecture in Japan. Harvested before it fully ripens to yellow, it is tart and not eaten as a table fruit but used to flavor sauces and marinades, desserts, and drinks in place of lemon or lime. Genetic analysis shows it to be the product of a cross between a yuzu and another citrus fruit akin to the koji and tachibana orange.
Citrus indica (Indian Wild Orange) Tanaka 1929
plant species in the rutaceae family
Citrus indica is a species of hybrid Citrus known by the common name Indian wild orange. It is native to South Asia.

It is a member of the tribe Citreae in the subfamily Aurantioideae, which includes the genus Citrus. It is one of several genera in the subtribe Triphasiinae, which are known technically as the minor citroid fruit trees. Most of the species in this small genus have limited native ranges in Southeast Asia. Species include: Monanthocitrus bispinosa Monanthocitrus cornuta — endemic to Irian Jaya, Indonesia Monanthocitrus oblanceolata — endemic
Pleiospermium littorale Tanaka 1928
endangered plant species in the rutaceae family
Pleiospermium littorale is a plant in the citrus family Rutaceae native to southeast Vietnam and the island of Java in Indonesia, where it inhabits coastal areas and plays a role in erosion prevention. In traditional Vietnamese medicine different parts of the plant have been used as an expectorant, cough suppressant, for exudation, and the treatment of colds and fevers. It is an endangered species threatened by habitat loss.
Citrus latipes (Khasi-papeda) (Swingle) Tanaka 1928
plant species in the rutaceae family
Citrus latipes, commonly called "Khasi papeda", is sometimes mistakenly identified as Kaffir lime (C. hystrix). Native to Northeast India, the khasi papeda is a small, thorny tree that closely resembles both kaffir limes and ichang papedas (C. cavaleriei). Though rarely eaten, and extremely rare in cultivation, the fruit is edible.
Citrus leiocarpa (Kōji) hort. ex Tanaka 1927
plant species in the rutaceae family
Koji orange (Citrus leiocarpa), also known as the smooth-fruited orange, is a Citrus species native to Japan. The specific epithet (leiocarpa) comes from the Greek λεῖος leîos 'smooth', and καρπός karpós 'fruit'. It is a taxonomical synonym of Citrus aurantium.

Citrus × tachibana (Tachibana Orange) (Makino) Tanaka 1924
plant hybrid species in the rutaceae family
The tachibana orange (Citrus × tachibana, or Citrus reticulata subsp. tachibana) is a variety of mandarin orange, a citrus fruit. They grow wild in the forests of Japan and are referred to in the poetry of the early Japanese and Ryukyu Islands kingdoms. The Tanaka System assigns them their own species, while the Swingle System places them in the same species with other mandarin oranges. Genomic analysis has shown tachibana oranges to be a constellation of distinct natural F1 hybrids that cross the pure Ryukyu Island mandarin C. ryukyuensis with mainland Asian C. reticulata that was itself a
