Electranthera is a genus of flowering plant in the family Asteraceae, native to Mexico to Honduras. The genus was first established in 1836, but under the illegitimate name Electra. A replacement name was published in 2015.

Electranthera mutica is a species of flowering plant in the family Asteraceae. It is a shrub or small tree, 0.3 to 5 m tall, which is native to the mountains of El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and tropical Mexico. It grows in montane forests, including oak forests, pine–oak forests, and thickets, and on dry hillsides, roadsides, and along streams from (400) 700 to 2800 meters elevation. It mostly flowers from June to January.

Electranthera cuneifolia is a shrubby flowering plant native to the states of Durango, Nayarit, and Jalisco in west-central Mexico. It grows in oak forests in the southern Sierra Madre Occidental from 1500 to 1800 meters elevation. The species was first described as Coreopsis cuneifolia by Jesse More Greenman in 1904. In 2013 Daniel J. Crawford and Mesfin Tadesse found three Coreopsis species distinct from the rest of the genus, and placed them in the revived genus Electra named by Augustin Pyramus de Candolle in 1836. That genus name is illegitimate, and the genus Electranthera was named in

Silphidium latifolium is a North American species of flowering plant in the aster family known by the common name broad-leaved tickseed. It is the sole species in genus Silphidium. It is native to the southeastern United States, primarily in the southern Appalachians of the states of Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. The species was first described as Coreopsis latifolia by André Michaux in 1803. In 2023 Mesfin Tadesse and Daniel J. Crawford placed the species in the new genus Silphidium as Silphidium latifolium.

Burnellia is genus of flowering plants in the sunflower family, Asteraceae. It includes 28 species native to western South America, ranging from Colombia through Ecuador and Peru to Bolivia. Species in the genus were formerly placed in Coreopsis sect. Pseudoagarista. A phylogenetic study found that both Coreopsis and section Pseudoagarista were polyphyletic, and the species in section Pseudoagarista were placed in the new genera Pseudoagarista, with 11 species endemic to Mexico, and Burnellia, which includes the South American species.
