Ancistrocladus korupensis is a species of liana endemic to southwestern Cameroon and the neighbouring regions of Nigeria. The type locality is Korup National Park. The plant was identified as new to science in 1993 after pharmacologically intriguing alkaloids were found in its leaves.

Namataea is a monotypic genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Sapindaceae. The only species is Namataea simplicifolia. Its native range is Nigeria to Cameroon. The plant is named for the Naturalist (1947 - 2016) Ngomo Ferdinand Namata who worked in the Korup protected area from as early as 1973 when the biodiverse rich protected area was still known as Korup Forest Reserve.
