Vitis chungii is a polygamo-dioecious species of wild grape native to China (in Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, and Jiangxi provinces) where it is known by the name min gan pu tao, or Fujian Jianxi grape. It is a forest inhabitant, 200–1000 meters above sea-level, on hillsides, in valleys, or other areas having wild, shrubby growth. It bears globular, ruddy-purple berries, 8–10 mm in diameter.

Quercus chungii is an uncommon species of tree in the beech family. It has been found only in southern China, in the Provinces of Guangxi, and Guizhou. It is placed in subgenus Cerris, section Cyclobalanopsis. Quercus chungii is a tree up to 15 meters tall with brown hairy twigs and leaves as much as 12 cm long.

Acer sino-oblongum, the south China maple, is a species of evergreen maple tree native to China's Guangdong Province and Hong Kong. Acer sino-oblongum is a short tree up to 7 meters tall. The leaves are elliptical and waxy, unlobed and untoothed unlike the multi-lobed leaves found on most maples. The tree occurs naturally in coastal evergreen forests.

Acer lucidum is an Asian species of maple. It has been found only in southern China (Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Jiangxi, Sichuan). Acer lucidum is a small tree up to 10 meters tall, with brown of grayish-brown bark. Leaves are non-compound, thick and leathery, up to 9 cm wide and 4 cm across, lance-shaped with no teeth or lobes.

Acer confertifolium is an Asian species of maple. It has been found only in China (Fujian, Guangdong, Jiangxi). Acer confertifolium is a shrub or small tree up to 4 meters tall. Leaves are non-compound, the blade narrowly egg-shaped, up to 5 cm long and 4 cm wide, each with 3 lobes and a few sharp teeth.
