Orthilia is a genus of flowering plants in the family Ericaceae. It has only one species, Orthilia secunda. Its common names are sidebells wintergreen, one-sided-wintergreen and serrated-wintergreen. It is also called one-sided pyrola, one-sided shinleaf, and one-sided wintergreen. It was previously part of genus Pyrola, the wintergreens. The plant has a circumboreal distribution, growing throughout much of the Northern Hemisphere. The American wintergreen, Gaultheria procumbens, belongs to a different genus.

Sceptridium oneidense, the blunt-lobed grapefern, is a fern species in the family Ophioglossaceae.

Vitis shuttleworthii is a North American liana (woody vine) in the grape family commonly known as the calloose grape or bear grape (alternatively referred as calusa grape). The name refers to the group of Native American people that resided in southwest Florida, the Calusa. It is native to south and central Florida, with isolated populations in southern Alabama. The species was first described in 1887 using the name Vitis coriacea. However, this name had already been used for an Asian plant, so it was necessary to coin another name of the American species, now called V. shuttleworthii.

Viola walteri, the prostrate blue violet, is a perennial plant in the violet family (Violaceae). It is native to Southeastern and Appalachian North America. It is generally uncommon throughout its range, with populations becoming fragmented in the north. Viola walteri is found in rich calcareous forests and woodlands, often in dry rocky areas. It is a spring ephemeral, flowering March through May. It distinguished by its creeping, rooting stolons, which is thought to be indicative of it being transitional between the caulescent and acaulescent violets. This species is similar to Viola

Jacquemontia reclinata is a rare species of flowering plant in the morning glory family known by the common names beach clustervine, reclined clustervine, and beach jacquemontia. It is endemic to the southeastern coast of Florida, mainly within the South Florida metropolitan area, in the United States, where little of its native habitat remains. It is a federally listed endangered species. This is a creeping vine that has a woody base and stems that grow up to a meter long. The stems may climb on other plants.
