Utricularia simmonsii is a small annual or perennial terrestrial carnivorous plant that belongs to the genus Utricularia and is the only member of Utricularia sect. Minutae. U. simmonsii is endemic to Australia and is only known from a few locations in the Northern Territory and Queensland. It and the section Minutae were originally published and described by Allen Lowrie, Ian D. Cowie, and John Godfrey Conran in 2008. It was named in honor of Paul Simmons, who discovered the species in Queensland in 2005. Lowrie et al. placed the section and species in subgenus Utricularia sensu Taylor

Atalaya brevialata is a species of plant in the soapberry (Sapindaceae) family. It is native to northern Australia where it occurs in the Northern Territory.

Goodenia elaiosoma is a species of flowering plant in the family Goodeniaceae and is endemic to the northern part of the Northern Territory. It is a low-lying annual herb with its new growth covered with white hairs, and has linear leaves, and racemes of purplish-brown flowers with cream to dark maroon tips.

Brachychiton chrysocarpus is a tree of the genus Brachychiton native to the Northern Territory, Australia. It was first described in 2015 by Ian D. Cowie and Gordon Guymer.

Acacia equisetifolia is a species of flowering plant in the family Fabaceae and is endemic to the Northern Territory of Australia. It is an erect shrub with crowded whorls of slender phyllodes with stipules at the base, heads of bright yellow flowers in each whorl and oblong to narrowly oblong, crusty pods.
