Rhynchophora is a genus in the Malpighiaceae, a family of about 73 genera of flowering plants in the order Malpighiales. Rhynchophora comprises two species of slender woody vines native to Madagascar. The distinctive three to four-winged fruit resembles a helicopter and is unique in the family.

Peponidium is a genus of flowering plants in the family Rubiaceae. The genus is endemic to Madagascar, except for Peponidium ovato-oblongum and Peponidium venulosum that are found on the Comoros, and Peponidium carinatum and Peponidium celastroides that are found on the Seychelles.

Homollea is a genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Rubiaceae. It is native to Madagascar. The genus name of Homollea is in honour of Anne-Marie Homolle (1905–1988), a French botanist who studied and collected plants of Madagascar, and it was first described and published in Notul. Syst. (Paris) Vol.16 on page 13 in 1960. Digoniopterys is a genus in the Malpighiaceae, a family of about 75 genera of flowering plants in the order Malpighiales. Digoniopterys contains only one species, Digoniopterys microphylla, a shrub known only from shrubby vegetation on sand dunes near the southwestern coast of Madagascar.
