Pinus maximartinezii, called Martinez pinyon, big-cone pinyon or maxipiñon, is a pine in the pinyon pine group, native to west-central Mexico.

Mirandea is a genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Acanthaceae. It is native to Mexico. The genus name of Mirandea is in honour of Faustino Miranda Gonzalez (1905–1964), a Spanish-born Mexican botanist. It was first described and published in Ciencia (Mexico) Vol.19 on page 80 in 1959.

Yucca potosina, English common name Potosí palm soapwort or Potosi palm, Rzed. is a plant species in the family Asparagaceae, native to the east central Mexico from Hidalgo to San Luís Potosí. It is sometimes cultivated as an ornamental, but not widely. Yucca potosina is a rather large tree-like species up to 8 m tall, with occasional branching. Leaves are stiff, narrow, rough, up to 100 cm long. Inflorescence is up to 120 cm long. Flowers are white, elongated, up to 50 mm long and 15 mm across.

Enriquebeltrania is a plant genus in the family Euphorbiaceae, first described in 1957. It was initially given the name Beltrania, but this turned out to be an illegitimate homonym. In other words, someone else had already applied the name to a different plant, so this one had to be renamed. The genus is native to western and southern Mexico.
