Phyllanthopsis phyllanthoides (Missouri Maidenbush) (Nutt.) Voronts. & Petra Hoffm. 2008
plant species in the phyllanthaceae family
Phyllanthopsis phyllanthoides, commonly called buckbrush or maidenbush, is a flowering plant in the family Phyllanthaceae. It is native to Mexico (where it is found in Nuevo León) and the United States (where it is found primarily South Central region). Its natural habitat is on limestone or dolomite rock outcrops, particularly in seepy shelves along rivers, but also in upland areas such as glades and bluffs.
Notoleptopus decaisnei (Notoleptopus) (Benth.) Voronts. & Petra Hoffm. 2008
plant species in the phyllanthaceae family
Notoleptopus is a monotypic genus of flowering plants in the family Phyllanthaceae. It is one of eight genera in the tribe Poranthereae. The sole species is Notoleptopus decaisnei. It is a monoecious shrub, native to Australia, New Guinea, and Indonesia. Notoleptopus decaisnei had long been treated as a species of Leptopus, but in 2007, a molecular phylogenetic study of DNA sequences found it to be sister to a clade consisting of Pseudophyllanthus and Poranthera. In 2008, the new genus Notoleptopus was created for it. The species, N. decaisnei, has eleven synonyms, and was first described as

plant genus in the phyllanthaceae family
Phyllanthopsis is a genus of flowering plants in the family Phyllanthaceae. It is one of the eight genera in the tribe Poranthereae. It has two species. The type species is Phyllanthopsis phyllanthoides. Phyllanthopsis is native to Texas, Oklahoma and Mexico. It consists of monoecious or dioecious shrubs. Phyllanthopsis phyllanthoides had been placed in Leptopus or Andrachne and Phyllanthopsis arida had been placed in Andrachne. In 2007, a molecular phylogenetic study showed that these two species did not belong in either of these genera because they formed a clade that is sister to a clade
Heterosavia (Urb.) Petra Hoffm. 2008
plant genus in the phyllanthaceae family
