South african botanist (born 1974).

Ronell Renett Klopper, (born 1974) is a South African botanist. She has been the coordinator for the South African National Plant Checklist in the Fundamental Biodiversity Sciences Division of the South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) since 2014. Klopper is responsible for keeping the plant checklist up to date and for liaising with the Biodiversity Information Management Unit of SANBI for its online distribution. This checklist forms the taxonomic backbone for numerous projects, and for management and conversation planning activities. She curates the Lycopodiophyta, Pteridophy

It is native to South Africa northwards to Mozambique. In its native climes this slow-growing tree can reach up to 18 metres (59 ft) high and 0.9 m (3 ft) stem in stem diameter. Aloidendron barberae is Africa's largest aloe-like plant. The tree aloe is often used as an ornamental plant. Its tubular flowers are rose pink (green-tipped); it flowers in winter and in its natural environment is pollinated by sunbirds.
