Ladyginia is a genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Apiaceae. Its native to parts of Central Asia. It is found in Afghanistan, Tadzhikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The genus name of Ladyginia is in honour of Veniamin Fedorovich Ladygin (1860–1932), a Russian botanist who collected in East Asia. It was first described and published in Trudy Imp. S.-Peterburgsk. Bot. Sada Vol.23 on page 150 in 1904.

Korshinskia is a genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Apiaceae. It is also in the Tribe Pleurospermeae. Its native range is Central Asia and Afghanistan. It is found in the countries of Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The genus name of Korshinskia is in honour of Sergéi Korzhinski (1861–1900), a Russian botanist who studied plant distribution, professor at the university in Tomsk and then he later worked at a botanical garden and botanical museum in Saint Petersburg. It was first described and published in Trudy Imp. S.-Peterburgsk.

Kozlovia is a genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Apiaceae. Its native range is Afghanistan to Central Asia (Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan) and Pakistan.

Inula magnifica, the giant fleabane, is a species of flowering plant in the sunflower family Asteraceae, native to the eastern Caucasus. It is a tall herbaceous perennial growing to 1.8 m (6 ft) tall by 1 m (3 ft) broad, with hairy stems and leaves. In late summer it bears rich yellow, daisy-like composite flower-heads 15 cm (6 in) in diameter, with narrowly tubular ray florets. It is suitable for planting at the back of a border, or in a wild meadow or prairie-style garden. The cultivar 'Sonnenstrahl' has gained the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
