Alnus sieboldiana (オオバヤシャブシ in Japanese) is an alder species found on the islands of Honshu, Shikoku, and Suwanosejima in Japan. A. sieboldiana contains ellagitannins including alnusiin, tellimagrandin I, pedunculagin, casuarinin, casuariin and 2,3-O-(S)-hexahydroxydiphenoyl-D-glucose.
