Juncus tenageia, called the sand rush, is a species of flowering plant in the genus Juncus, native to northwestern Africa, many of the Mediterranean islands, warmer parts of southern, central and eastern Europe, and western Asia including Turkey, the Caucasus region, and Kazakhstan.
