Hesperomannia is endemic to Hawaii and consists of four species: Hesperomannia arborescens A.Gray – Lanai hesperomannia Hesperomannia arbuscula Hillebr. – Maui hesperomannia Hesperomannia lydgatei C.N.Forbes – Kauai hesperomannia Hesperomannia oahuensis (Hillebr.) O.Deg. Hesperomannia swezeyi O.Deg.
