Boidinia Stalpers & Hjortstam 1982
fungi genus in the russulaceae family
Boidinia is a genus of crust fungi in the family Russulaceae. The genus is widely distributed, and contains 10 species. Boidinia was described in 1982 with the type species Boidinia furfuracea (formerly placed in Gloeocystidiellum). It is named in honor of French mycologist Jacques Boidin. N. Maekawa (1994) wrote: "The genus Boidinia is a satellite genus of Gloeocystidiellum and differs from the latter in forming loose texture in subiculum and globose, echinulate to verrucose basidiospores." Boidinia is probably not monophyletic and needs taxonomical redefinition.
Cunninghammyces Stalpers 1985
fungi genus in the cyphellaceae family
Cunninghammyces is a genus of corticioid fungi in the family Cyphellaceae. The genus, described by Joost Stalpers in 1985, contains two species known from New Zealand and Réunion. The genus name of Cunninghammyces is in honour of Gordon Herriot Cunningham (1892–1962), who was the first New Zealand-based mycologist and plant pathologist. The genus was circumscribed by Joost A. Stalpers in New Zealand J. Bot. Vol.23 on pages 301-309 in 1985.

Moniliophthora H.C. Evans, Stalpers, Samson & Benny 1978
fungi genus in the marasmiaceae family
Moniliophthora is a genus of fungi in the family Marasmiaceae. The genus was described in 1978 with M. roreri as the type species. This fungus, formerly known as Monilia roreri, causes frosty pod rot, a serious disease of Theobroma cacao. Moniliophthora is closely related to the genus Crinipellis, also having distinctive tiny hairs on the cap surface, but is distinguished by having a flexible stem and a reddish coloration of the fruiting body.

Moniliophthora roreri (Frosty Pod Rot Of Cocoa) (Cif.) H.C. Evans, Stalpers, Samson & Benny 1978
fungi species in the marasmiaceae family
Moniliophthora roreri is a basidiomycete fungus that causes frosty pod rot disease, one of the most serious problems for cacao (Theobroma cacao— the source of chocolate) production in Latin America. This disease and together with witches’ broom disease (caused by M. perniciosa) and black pod rot (caused by Phytophthora sp.) constitute the cacao disease trilogy. It causes serious losses in southwestern parts of South America; spores are dry and powdery and are spread easily by water movement, wind, or movement of pods; disease spread is highest during periods of high rainfall.
Perenniporia meridionalis Decock & Stalpers 2006
fungi species in the polyporaceae family
Perenniporia meridionalis is a poroid crust fungus in the family Polyporaceae. It was described as a new species by Cony Decock and Joost Stalpers in 2006. The holotype specimen was collected in the Province of Nuoro in Italy, where it was found growing on dead wood of Quercus ilex. Distinguishing characteristics of this fungus include its relatively large pores (typically numbering 3 or 4 per millimetre), the hyaline vegetative hyphae that are yellowish to slightly dextrinoid in Melzer's reagent, and large spores measuring 6.0–7.7 by 4.5–6.2 μm. P. meridionalis occurs in central and southern
Hydnellum cristatum (Bres. ex G.F. Atk.) Stalpers 1993
fungi species in the bankeraceae family
Hydnellum cristatum is a tooth fungus in the family Bankeraceae found in Europe and North America. It was originally described as a species of Hydnum by Italian mycologist Giacomo Bresadola in 1902. Joost Stalpers transferred it to the genus Hydnellum in 1993.
