Centrosema pubescens, common name centro or butterfly pea, is a legume in the family Fabaceae, subfamily Faboideae, and tribe Phaseolae. It is native to Central and South America and cultivated in other tropical areas as a forage for livestock. Although, this species has hitherto almost exclusively been referred to as Centrosema pubescens, its correct name is Centrosema molle.
